This small hotel not only satisfies the needs of Tafraout in accommodation, but also allows the visitors to enjoy staying in a fine and luxuous Berber world.

The buildnig and Berber decorations of Riad Tafaout got inspired from the old luxuous houses that we can still see in the villages. We can also find in this unique guest-house a big number of old berber ornements. We wish you then a nice stay in Riad-tafraout.

Tafraout is situated at around 130 km south of Agadir on the way via Ait Baha and at around 200Km if we take the road that goes through Tiznit. Tafraout
is known for its pink granite mountains & for its old adobe houses & its valleys of almond & argan.

Once in the town of Tafraout, take the route of Hotel Les Amandiers. The Riad is there on the left side. It is near to all city services like Hospital, bank, post,
the weekly old market (souk) on every Wednesday…

THE ROOMS

“Riad Tafraout” is consisting of 8 rooms, some with double beds others with twin beds, and they all have : toilets, baths, air-condition, satellite tv and internet. The rooms of Riad Tafraout are comfortable and allow the discovery of the Berber arts. Besides accommodation, Riad Tafraout has a jacuzzi for the wellbeing of its clients.

Tafraout is a series of Berber villages located among granite mountains south of agadir. An important number of its people have moved to the biggest cities of Morocco and also to cities in Europe for business as agriculture couldn’t be a main activity in this mountainous area. It is only in summer time or during religious celebrations that these families get back for holidays. The return to tafraout has been crowned by new buildings, festivals and other social activities.

In what concerns the discovery of Tafraout, there are many sites that deserve your visit. From Riad Tafraout, you can start many excursions, either on 4wd with driver or by walking with a native mountain guide, to wonderfull places around Tafraout.
