Through this page, we would like to show you the various services we can give for a better discovery of Morocco, especially the anti-atlas and desert area.
We are based in Tafraout some 140km south of Agadir, in a very special valley surrounded by pink granite rocks. There we provide our clients with air-conditioned 4×4, drivers and guides. We also help our client draw nice and interesting itineraries in the south of morocco.
Major places we visit are : Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Dades and Todra gorges, the desert and the dunes of Merzouga, Zagora and the Draa Valley, Mhamid and Chegaga dunes, Tata and the great plateaus leading to Tafraout through the Enchanted valley of Tazegzaoute, Ait Mansour gorges, Amtoudi oasis, Guelmim and the camel market, Fort Boujerif, the splendid “plage Blanche” laying on more than 50kms, Sidi Ifni and the small silverware city Tiznit, Massa valley and its bird reserve, Sidi Rbat and the Tifnit fishermen village, the road of the farms to walled Taroudant, the city of Agadir and the old harbor Medina anciantly known as Mogador. The discovery of the places we’ve just mentionned allows us to join the desert and the Atlantic with the Atlas in between.
With the experience of our 4×4 and minibus drivers, we can also take you in tours offering the Imperial cities: Marrakech, Rabat, Meknes et Fes…

For one of these tours, we can book the hotels you like through our travel partners around Morocco. When in desert, we suggest you spending the nights in auberges, by local families, in maisons d’hôtes or in a bivouac (in nomad or Berber tents). It is an unforgettable experience once in Morocco.
During your stay in Tafraout, the team of tafraout Aventure welcomes you to enjoy the life of the Berber people in the villages around. We’ve selected some excursions of half-day and full-day and also some mini-trips offering an overnight by local people or in a kasbah. If you are in Tafraout, feel free to come to our office in the centre of the small town. We will give you all needed information and, with a dozen of detailed maps, we will show you all the hidden trails and villages.
Besides the 4×4 and Mtb routes, trekking is the activity that fits more this part of the Anti-Atlas. For years, our mountain guides share their experiences by walking with individuals and families or bigger groups. Moreover, Tafraout enjoys a variety of charming natural spots and interesting culture, the thing that makes our trekking tours in Tafraout as a real cure for stress and routine work…

To take part in our walking tours, we will ask you to bring your special wear with you especially when it’s a long tour. In our part, we will provide you with the following :
- A 4×4 with driver, fuel and transport insurance for transfers.
- A local mountain guide who knows well the places and who speaks some French, English or Deutsch
- A cook for the meals if it is a tour for more than 4 persons, otherwise, the guide also has the skill of cooking traditional meals for few participants.
- One or more sleeping tents for the bivouac.
- Some overnights will be by locals in the Berber villages.
- Water supply.
- Medicines of urgence though the places are safe from insects and other natural dangers
